A Riley Card Bonanza!

Some of us from the Riley design team have cards to share with you today!  Be sure to check out the others on our blog.

My first card is a birthday card for a little boy--which I find to be the hardest type to make!  It uses Super Moose which little boys should love! I adhered the image to the Nesting Oval dies (I love Riley nesting dies!!!!!)

My next card is one that has many uses!  I love the sentiment "Inhale the Future. Exhale the Past." I used the sentiment on the nesting oval dies (I use those nesting dies on most of my cards now--they are certainly multi-purpose!).

My last card for you today is just a little bonus!  As you certainly know by now, Karen Burniston has paired up with Riley to create fantastic dies!  On this card I used the Nesting Rectangle Dies from Riley in addition to Karen Burniston in cahoots with Riley word set 2 Birthday, and Birthday charms.

All three cards today were very easy to make!  Be sure to check out what others have posted on our blog!

Papertrey's Anniversary Challenge

My last challenge for today is to create a card for a wood anniversary.  I used an impression plate giving me a woodgrain finish.  I die cut circles from Riley and Company's Nesting Circle dies and used a stamp and sentiment from Papertrey's Owls set.  I put a little Perfect Pearls on the owl's eyes.

Papertrey's Anniversary Challenges

My second card today celebrates a linen anniversary.  I stamped on linen using various snowflakes from Papertrey's Snowflake Serenade.  This makes an easy and different looking card--and is a technique I will use again!

Papertrey Anniversary Challenges

I found a little time today to complete a couple more of the Papertrey challenges.  This first card of mine uses a wonderful new technique for me.  You create a leather-feeling background using water and glycerine.  I think this makes a wonderful back for a masculine card.  I used Riley and Company Nesting Circle dies and sentiment Hating Everybody.

PTI's First Linen Challenge

For this challenge, we were to stamp on linen.  What an interesting way to create gift wrap!  This will be part of Christmas at my house this coming year. I also created a tag to match.  I used Papertrey's Snowflake Serenade on both.

PTI's Second Cotton Challenge

For this challenge, we were to use die cut fabric flowers.  I do not have many flower dies, so I used a heart die.  I used Papertrey felts, their heart dies, their love die, and red polka dot ribbon.  I used my sewing machine again--and stuffed this heart with dried lavender.  This has special meaning for me as my beloved granddaughter gave me this lavender plant for mother's day.  I was not able to keep it living for too long, but was able to dry some lavender.  This will always be a special reminder of her.
