Riley New Release!

Yay!  It's my favorite time of the year (partially because students are returning to school, and as a retired teacher--I'm not!) but really because it is the time for a new Riley release.  I can say without a doubt that Tanya has outdone herself this time!  I'm sharing three cards with you today--one for Christmas, one for Thanksgiving, and one for "pumpkin season!"

The Christmas card uses one of the new sentiments which says "Drink Up Grinches!" To go along with this, I used the image of Riley as the Grinch three different times on a Z-fold card.  Love all the coordinating designer papers I used on this card. I stamped the sentiment in one of the nesting ovals from Riley.

Next photo shows the card opened up one time:

And the last photo shows it opened up all the way:

My Thanksgiving card shares a sentiment about adding wine for the cook!  I also used the Retro Folks image called Lucy Cooking.

My last card for celebrates another one of my favorite times of the year--pumpkin spice season!  I like iced coffee--and I found sugar free pumpkin caramel and pumpkin spice flavorings at Tuesday Mornings.  I glad to be celebrating Pumpkin Spice Season with this shaker card I made.

Riley Card Bonanza

Today three of my Riley cards are shown on the Riley blog. Be sure to check it out as there are others!  Hopefully you will get inspired from these cards!

My first card features Karen Burniston in Cahoots with Riley die cut squirrel from the Woodland Animals die cut set.  Aren't these guys cute?  I think they are perfect to pair up with the Riley sentiment that says "I noticed the squirrels are beginning to gather nuts for winter. A couple of my friends are missing.  Are you ok?  Good pairing, huh? The circles are cut with the Nesting Circles Die.

My next card is made with my husband in mind.  At 72 he still skis--and a couple of years ago, he did an unplanned flip--and broke his wrist.  That didn't stop him though as he returned to ski the next year. The image is Snow Ski Riley, and the snow is cut from Karen Burniston in Cahoots with Riley Nature Edges Die Set.

My last card features Burt the Cat.  I just love him when he is colored to look like a Siamese! I used the stamp and the die. The sentiment is You Always Make Me Grin.

It's a Riley Card Bonanza!

I hope you all enjoy our Card Bonanzas as much as I enjoy creating for them!  My first card today uses some of the dies from Karen Burniston in cahoots with Riley and Company.  These dies are SO much fun to use. This card features the Tree Pop-Up Die Set--the tree trunk, the flowers, and the leaves were all from this set.  I also used the Nature Edges Die Set for the grass and clouds.  The word celebrate on the inside is from the Word Set 2: Birthday Die Set. The Riley image is called Tent Riley.

My next card uses one of the Retro Folks called Winking Gal. I think those images are so easy to pair up with Funny Bones stamps.  The one I used here is Damn Girl.

My last card is one I always need to keep on hand--as I am always forgetting something--in most cases a birthday!  The image is The Moosehatter.

Happy Father's Day!

Here's a Riley card for all you fathers celebrating today!  The image is Riley's Band and the sentiment was computer-generated.  Love the little one at the end playing the flute as it reminds me of our granddaughter, Liz!
